| **Armbian** | Community‑maintained Debian‑based Linux distribution for ARM boards. |
| **BDY‑G18‑Pro** | RK3568‑based router (8 GB DDR4, 256 GB eMMC, 32 MB SPI‑NOR, RTL8367S switch). |
| **DTB** | Device Tree Blob – binary description of hardware passed to the kernel/bootloader. |
| **FIT** | Flattened Image Tree – container format bundling SPL, U‑Boot, BL31, kernel, DTB. |
| **SPL** | Secondary Program Loader (Rockchip MaskROM loads this from DDR). |
| **U‑Boot** | Primary bootloader; stock version 2024.10 or custom mainline 2026.04. |
| **SPI‑NOR** | 32‑MiB external flash used for SPL; write‑once in production. |
| **eMMC** | On‑board 256 GiB storage used for root‑fs and kernel. |
| **RTL8367S** | Realtek 5‑port DSA Ethernet switch integrated on the board. |
