Metrix Project Overview (Development Workspace)

Metrix is a modular FastAPI + Vue 3 platform built for data‑intensive operations and container‑managed workloads. The architecture consists of a FastAPI core with an API‑Gateway, a module registry that discovers APP_MODULE objects, an action‑based RBAC permission framework, and a set of functional sub‑modules (Containers, Database, Scripts, Storage, Internal PyPI, etc.). The front‑end is a Vue 3 SPA with i18n (English/Chinese), dark/light themes, Monaco + Shiki editors, and Playwright regression tests.

Key characteristics:

Single‑port deployment – FastAPI serves the built Vue assets; no external Nginx required.
Modular sub‑modules – each feature lives in its own Git sub‑module under plugins/ (e.g., CapacityReport, InterferenceETL).
Action‑based permission model – navigation is granted by action:<resource>:read rather than route‑specific codes.
Offline bundle – scripts/build_docker.py creates a tarball with all images for air‑gapped installs.
Development discipline – Chinese‑first communication, KISS / YAGNI, single‑file responsibilities, and MemRelay‑only project memory.

The system is currently stable (as of 2026‑08‑26) with only a handful of high‑priority items remaining (Shiki theme sync, fine‑grained API‑token permissions, missing indexes, etc.).
