Final handoff 2026-08-27 06:28 Asia/Shanghai: Latest generated dictionaries are synchronized as build/vmware.vmsg (8,401 messages) and build/vmware-netcfg.vmsg (326 messages), with SHA-256 matching the installed files. User locale remains zh_CN and the desktop launcher explicitly starts VMware with LANG=zh_CN.UTF-8, LANGUAGE=zh_CN:zh, LC_ALL=zh_CN.UTF-8 and --locale zh_CN. Repeated install backup timestamp collision was fixed in vmzhcn.py by adding a numeric suffix. Verification completed: 7 unittest cases pass; coverage reports 1,394/1,394 Linux-specific keys translated; vmware-netcfg launched as root with Chinese locale and screenshot confirmed Chinese network editor UI. Curation submission is queued. Only known English remnants are hard-coded home-screen labels outside .vmsg (My Computer and portions of the Open a Virtual Machine tile).
