Completed work
Completed the full unattended curation and optional memory Git implementation, audit remediation, documentation, native ARM64 build, production migration, and public deployment.
Why
MemRelay needed a complete AI-driven memory workflow without forcing private users or teams to configure external AI or Git. The no-AI/no-Git path remains a first-class mode.
Key changes
- Added workspace source policies, schema-v2 structured curation, stable source cursors/tombstones, revision metadata, bounded queues, scheduling, retries, concurrency leases, and restart recovery.
- Added optional local memory Git, generic remotes, mode migration, offline push, divergence handling, push-to-create, history, diff, restore, import, and bootstrap.
- Added REST, Web, 93 MCP tools, three resources, client guidance, and reusable OpenResty asset-cache configuration.
- Added optional build-only proxy and Debian mirror parameters; all remain empty by default and runtime proxy variables stay empty.
Verification
Ruff and backend pytest passed; live Responses covered non-streaming, SSE, JSON Schema, global/project incremental curation, history, diff, revert, and dependency recovery. Twenty-five frontend tests, lint, formatting, type checking, Vite, Playwright, Windows AMD64, backup cold restore, Alembic 0001 to 0009, and physical Armbian ARM64 passed. Public HTTPS and Streamable HTTP MCP work after restart. Static assets return MISS then HIT while API and MCP remain uncached.
Problems and solutions
The ARM host downloaded PyPI and Debian dependencies very slowly. Optional build-only proxy and mirror arguments accelerated native builds without changing default or runtime networking. The first default AMD64 npm attempt hit a transient ECONNRESET; a retry with the same empty configuration succeeded.
Next step
Use the production instance normally. Configure AI curation or memory Git only when the user explicitly wants either enhancement.
